Seven helpful tips.

Managing your own website and designing it in such a way that stands out from the crowd can be a real challenge. Thankfully there's lots of advice out there that can help you along the way. We've put together a short list of ideas that we think will be the most helpful to you and your business on how you can improve your website.

Contact info is vital

Having a website without contact info will really halt your progress. Make sure your website has some combination of the following: mailing address, links to social media if you have them, email address or contact form, and phone number.

Include a mission statement

Let your customers get to know you better. Having a clear and simple mission statement lets your customers get a sense of who you are as a business.

Let your customers give feedback

Finding out what's good and what needs to change is only to your benefit. Having a quick feedback form lets you know what your customers are really thinking.

Make your site easy to navigate

Nothing is more frustrating to a user than a poorly set up website. They may want more info, but can't find their way to the page they want or even back to the home page. Make it simple, and have a well structured menu system.

Testimonials

Having a list of good reviews and experiences written by your past and present clients is a great way to show your potential clients that you're worth dealing with.

Crew/ team bios

Pictures and a short bio of your team can really build trust. It helps you appear real and genuine to your future clients.

Have a call to action

"Call us now", "Sign up free". These type of calls to action encourage clients to act now and not put it off until later. Just don't pester them with pop ups or you might turn them off.
